| Smoked Garlic and Chinese Five Spice Noodles |
Welcome back foodie!
Aren't Monday nights at home always such a pleasure after the first day of the working week? We tend to have something delicious for tea on Mondays
as we do our food shopping on a Sunday, so the fridge is always full to bursting with fresh, delicious ingredients.

This Monday was no exception, and as Mr H was having a friend over before heading to the pub to watch the footy, I decided on a great big wok full of stir fry to feed three hungry Monday Haters.
Having just splurged on a giant bulb of smoked garlic cloves, they went to great use in flavouring the oil for this dish - Mr H said it smelled so good he wanted to eat just the fried garlic, and maybe put in it a sandwich!? ... Each to their own...
I continued to flavour the dish with Asian style spices, soy sauce and fish sauce, and stuffed it full of turkey strips, broccoli florets and other fresh veg. Finished with cooked egg noodles and a drizzle of sesame oil, and served with a big bowl of prawn crackers. Monday night delight!
I spent the rest of my evening sipping on a cheeky glass of Pinot Noir, blogging and watching Paper Towns, the movie adaptation of one my favourite ever novels by John Green. Told you Monday nights at home are the best.
Anyway, the recipe for this comforting and surprisingly easy-speedy dish can be found here.
~ Til next time, may your Mondays be short and your noodle game strong. Col ~
